*We will be having our first planning meeting on for the HLA SK Glow Run fundraiser on Wednesday, December 3rd, at 8:00 a.m. The run will be held in early April. If you are interested in helping with this event, please try to attend this meeting. If you cannot attend, but would like to help, please contact Mrs. Egan for more information. This is going to be a major undertaking, and we need all the help we can get to make it our most successful fundraiser  ever!

*We had a printing issue with the HLA t-shirts and shopping bags, but they should be ready shortly. We apologize for the delay.   If you would like to purchase  extra Run Club t-shirts, please contact Mr.   Mike at mcollins(a),hlacharter.com  or see him at school.  They are available for $5.00 in many colors and    sizes.

*Thank you to everyone for attending the Thanksgiving program and feast! We hope you and your families enjoyed this special evening. Thanks to a generous parent, the venue was paid for in full, and all donations were therefore able to be designated to the playground fund. Thanks also to another generous parent for the donation of several sets of various Gator sporting event tickets for the raffle . Thank you all for your continued support of your children’s education and school. Thank you to everyone who helped set up and tear down the venue, and a special thank you to Cathy Stubee and Regina Becker  for helping  with the planning  and facilitating of this event!   ©

*Just a reminder that if you shop at Amazon, please go through the link at our HLA website (www.healthylearningacademy.com) . A portion of all sales goes to the school. Also, remember to keep saving those Box Tops.  Please share these free and easy fundraising ideas with family and friends.

*Please drive safely when in the school neighborhood as we’ve had several accidents lately. Our telephone service was knocked out due to someone hitting the box and our neighbor’s driveway bench was damaged from being hit. Be sure to leave room for the neighbors to easily get in and out of their driveways and to not block mailboxes or park on the grass.  No cell phone use on the school   grounds.

*PLEASE be sure to label your children’s sweaters, jackets, and winter wear. Please check to be sure your children have all their belongings (lunchbox, water bottle, snack bag, folders, backpack and jacket) when they leave each day.  Ask them to sing you the song they were taught to help them remember.
