Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and certified School Counselor (PK‑12) to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community resources to provide guidance, counseling, and intervention services that promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling for students to support social-emotional learning, mental health, and academic achievement.
- Implement comprehensive school counseling programs aligned with state standards.
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and interventions.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality and professional ethics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Florida Department of Education School Counselor (PK‑12) certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in school counseling, guidance, or related field.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support a diverse student population with empathy and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a public school or charter school setting.
- Knowledge of social-emotional learning frameworks and intervention strategies.
