Fire Safety Visit

A huge THANK YOU to one of our HLA families, Lieutenant Starr, for arranging for two fire trucks and an ambulance to visit HLA yesterday in honor of National Fire Prevention Month! Each class had the opportunity to tour the vehicles, learn about fire safety, and discover the important work our first responders do every day. It was such a fun and engaging experience, and our students walked away with valuable knowledge and potentially life-saving skills. I love opportunities like this that bring learning to life for our students.
