To provide a learning environment, where children feel safe, inspired and challenged to develop at his/her own pace. To be an active member of an elementary school where love and respect for the children, community at large and the earth is the foundation of the teaching philosophy and methodology. To maintain informative, caring and sensitive communication with parents and the surrounding community about the care and education of young children.

Profile

I am a caring and committed teacher who brings her personal and professional experiences to the classroom in a productive, creative and nurturing way. While I continue to draw from the strengths of the Montessori curriculum, I welcome more contemporary methods and materials when meeting the diverse learning styles and developmental needs of children. I see co-workers, the administration and additional staff members as essential resources to collaborate with, draw from and role model professional, loving, and healthy relationships with.
